What is XS BS Magazine?
Launched in December 2007, we are an independent grassroots new media magazine. We are not censored, formal or stuffed full of “fillers”. Currently we have an average of 70,000+ unique visitors per month and growing. Our geographic focus is on North America and Europe. We are a big supporter of indie music and films. We do also cover some major label artists if we think they rock.
Musicially, we cover: hard rock, metal, goth, industrial, grunge, garage, alternative, electronic-rock. We don’t cover any fluffy” candy floss kinda music and we don’t cover screamo or death metal.
INTERVIEWS
We focus on interviews and cover: upcoming talent including rock bands both indie/major, occassionally authors, actors and anyone working in the entertainment industry that intrigues us.
LISTEN TO THIS
Regular column. We do features on bands and include one streaming track for our readers to listen to.
REVIEWS
Cds/DVDS/Books: We don’t do many reviews. When we do, we only review new releases from major and indie artists. We do not review mp3s, singles, demos or music online. We do review newly released Dvds, indie movies and related books.

Kat has been involved in and had a passionate about the arts since childhood. She picked up her first instrument at around age 10 and received her first by-line at age eighteen. Having nothing left to achieve, she became heavily addicted to rock and eventually went on to become a full blown rockoholic.
On a serious note…she is involved in writing, photography, video/editing and on occassion she is also a part-time music publicist.
